Las obras de ampliación y reforma efectuadas en el Monasterio de Irache en el siglo XVII, son estudiadas a partir de la documentación inédita que se conserva en el Archivo General de Navarra. Las edificaciones de estilo herreriano del comienzo de la centuria, dan paso a mediados de siglo a obras de fábrica y decoración barroca. Los maestros canteros que trabajan en el convento, provienen sobre todo de La Rioja, foco que ejerce gran influencia sobre la edificación en el cenobio benedictino. También de la merindad de Trasmiera, en Cantabria llegan artífices.

Iratxeko monasterioan XVII. mendean eginiko zabaltze eta eraberritze lanak aztertzen dira hemen, Nafarroako Artxibo Nagusian gorderik dagoen dokumentazio argitaragabea oinarri harturik. Mendearen erdialdean, fabrika eta dekorazio barrokoz hornituriko obrek ordezkatu zituzten mende hasierako herreriar estiloko eraikuntzak. Komentuan lan egin zuten hargin maisuak gehienbat La Riojatik etorriak ziren, eskualde hark eragin handia izan zuelarik beneditarren zenobioaren eraikuntzan. Kantabriako Trasmiera merindadetik ere hainbat hargin etorri ziren.

Les travaux d'agrandissement et transformation effectués dans le monastère de Irache au XVIIe siècle sont étudiés à partir de la documentation inédite conservée dans les Archives Générales de Navarre. Les édifications de style "herreriano" du début du siècle sont remplacées vers le milieu du siècle par des ouvrages d'art et de décoration baroques. Les maîtres carriers qui travaillent dans le couvent proviennent surtout de la Rioja, foyer qui exerce une grande influence sur la construction du monastère bénédictin. Des artisans arrivent également du baillage de Trasmiera, en Cantabrie.
- Summary in english:
The works of amplification and reform effected in the monastery of Irache in the 17th century are studied in the hitherto unpublished documentation that is conserved in the General Archives of Navarra. The Herrera-style constructions of the beginning of the century are succeeded in the middle of the century by baroque building and decoration works. The master stonecutters who work in the convent, come especially from the Rioja region, an area that exercises considerable influence in the building of the Benedictine monastery. Some of the builders also come from the area of Trasmiera, in Cantabria.
